Aliesha Grandison

When Aliesha Grandison came to Questrom, she was ready to step out of her comfort zone. With a BA in psychology focused on industrial and organizational psychology, she decided to make the move into a career in business.

Customer success, operational management, consulting, and project management were all areas Aliesha was considering. Questrom’s MS in Management Studies (MSMS) fit the bill.

“The MSMS curriculum is strategically designed to provide us with the knowledge and skills needed to perform in a business setting,” she says. “The hands-on experience we get while working on projects for industry leaders is the icing on the cake. Regardless of which industry or role I end up choosing, by obtaining my MSMS degree, I’m certain I’ll be prepared.”

Another highlight of the program for Aliesha is the people she’s met. “My classmates are a brilliant selection of people,” she says. “I’ve really appreciated getting to know them. The beauty of the program is how diverse the class is—everyone has a different background, and brings something unique to the table. The diversity in degree concentration, work experience, and culture makes discussions very interesting. You can almost always expect to gain a new perspective after every class.”

Aliesha believes the bond with her classmates will last long after she graduates, and the global Questrom alumni network will unlock endless career opportunities. “I am extremely excited about that,” she says. “I look forward to taking advantage of the vast professional network, and working towards creating my own footprint, so I can pay it forward for future generations.”

“The program promises to give you real-world business experience and guidance on finding the career that’s perfect for you—I can attest that they deliver on that promise starting on day one. It’s only the first month in and we’ve already started building our professional profiles and connecting to the substantial Questrom alumni network. We’ve also been introduced to what it would feel like to manage a business in a month-long simulation. I feel like I’ve already gained years of business knowledge and experience. I can only imagine what the next eight months will bring!”
