INFORMATION SYSTEMS PROGRAM

The Information Systems department has developed a strong presence in social networks, recommender systems, and digital platforms. Our social network research has explored who is most influential and susceptible in message propagation, and how networks shape collective intelligence. Our platform research has found the strategies that lead to winner-take-all markets. Our work is taught worldwide. Classes in IS provide leading tools and theories in data science, technology, AI and organizational design. Our MS in Digital Technology program trains students to bridge technical and managerial roles, a combination that is especially sought by employers.
