Regardless of program, your career management begins with your dedicated career coach in the MBA Center or the Specialty Master’s & PhD Center. Your coach will partner with you to prepare you for a graduate-level, candidate-driven internship or job search. This search focuses on aligning your expertise, academic experience, and future goals with the skills employers seek. Our team has years of experience to guide you as you develop the strategic mindset and tactics you’ll need—from growing a network to identifying the best internship, and from interview practice to compensation negotiation for a full-time position.

No matter what Questrom graduate program you choose, you’ll have access to 50,000 Questrom alumni and 300,000 Boston University alumni worldwide. We’re proud that our prominent alumni take an active role in the School and participate in informational interviews and networking events. They return to campus regularly for student engagement opportunities (panels, classroom visits, case competitions, networking events and more).

Full-Time MBA

We partner with our Full-time MBA students before classes even begin. During the summer prior to your arrival, you’ll meet your career coach and begin to develop the market-readiness skills that are the basis for lifelong career success. When you’re ready, your coach will refer you to an industry relations manager in the Feld Center for Industry Alliances to put your targeted search plan into practice. Our coaching team and industry specialists have significant corporate, nonprofit, and entrepreneurial experience, as well as close relationships with employer partners that help align our career coaching with what employers want.

MBA Career Curriculum

The content and delivery of the MBA career curriculum is optimized across your entire MBA experience. The MBA career curriculum is designed to appropriately pace your career development with regular classroom meetings and career checkpoints. This innovative program will help you stay on track with career development by incorporating the appropriate career related action items in a timely order.

Clubs & Organizations

Student clubs & organizations are an important resource for your career launch and professional development. Club activities include guest speakers, treks to employer sites, and case competition teams. MBA candidates are strongly encouraged to join at least one club and make a proactive contribution to the club’s success.

Professional Evening MBA

Although our Professional Evening MBA (PEMBA) is designed for fully-employed students, we recognize our students’ need for career management and support, now and in the future. All of our students, regardless of program, have access to career services and events in the MBA Center Center and the Feld Center.
