Questrom Grad Students Win 2nd Place in the Turner MIINT Competition
April 8, 2025

Congratulations to Questrom grad students Amonwan Bunyadarba, Abhiram Manchi, Siddardha Kumar Nelapudi, Hannah Roberge, and Cynthia Salazar, whose team was named runner-up in the global Turner MIINT (MBA Impact Investing Network & Training) competition—beating 29 other teams from around the world. They also took home the coveted audience award. The team was mentored by Professor William Woo, with special thanks to Adwoa Asare, MBA, for championing Questrom’s participation each year. Additional thanks go to David Stolow and Rodrigo Canales for their ongoing support.
The Turner MBA Impact Investing Network & Training program and competition trains MBA students in the fundamentals of impact investing through a hands-on experience. Teams source and conduct due diligence on real-world, early-stage companies focused on social or environmental impact, guided by the Turner MIINT curriculum. The program culminates in a final pitch to an investment committee of global industry leaders, who may invest up to $50,000 in a selected venture. The event also features workshops and networking opportunities, preparing students to be future leaders in impact investing.

“I chose Questrom for its strong focus on social impact, technology, and experiential learning,” says Siddardha Kumar Nelapudi. “Opportunities like MIINT made it the perfect place to bridge my past work in financial inclusion with a future in mission-driven investing.”
Siddardha Kumar Nelapudi, MBA’25
The team recommended investing in TurnSignl, citing a strong belief in the company’s impactful mission and effectiveness. TurnSignl is a mobile application that connects drivers with licensed attorneys in real time during traffic stops, promoting safety and legal access. The students were particularly inspired by Questrom’s dedication to leveraging business as a force for positive change in global communities.
