Questrom MBA Student Makes the List

Poets & Quants has announced its Best & Brightest MBAs: Class of 2021 list, which includes Questrom student Dheera Keethi Kattula (MBA’21). Now in its 7th year, the Best & Brightest celebrates MBA’s who are embodiments of excellence and the voices of their schools, leaders who rally, the mentors who champion, the visionaries who awaken, and the volunteers who shoulder the heaviest burdens.

The common thread with those named to this year’s Best & Brightest list is that of the pandemic and how it impacted education, travel, remote learning and finding new ways to engage in their respective MBA program. Dheera had returned to her hometown of Bhimavaram, India for spring break and was not able to return to campus due to the lockdown and travel restrictions. Everything became remote for her including classes, team projects, activities, and networking. She overcame obstacles of distance and time zones and found ways to interact and be involved in the Questrom community and her program.

Ned Rimer, faculty director of the Health Sector MBA Program had this to say about Dheera, “She volunteered to pilot a new program, facilitating a group of first-year health sector students to navigate the uncertainty of future internship opportunities and career aspirations. With unwavering support and compassion, she maintained and established new connections with peers, staff, faculty, and industry leaders. When the COVID pandemic disrupted all our lives, she stayed in close communication with many members of the Questrom community, trained to serve as a COVID-19 contact tracer, and excelled at her graduate studies.” The Questrom community is extremely proud of Dheera.
