The Application Process

So, you’ve either decided to apply to law school, or you are at least curious to learn more about the process. If you have decided to apply, by now you have explored the law school experience and the legal profession, taken (or set your plans to take) the LSAT, and begun investigating schools to which you will apply. We hope you have also discussed your plans with a pre-law advisor and that you have begun mapping out a plan for your application process. If you have not yet met with a pre-law advisor, you are encouraged to do so.

As you take the next step toward pursing a legal career, use the information in this section to help guide you through the application process. In addition to a four-year overview of the pre-law student experience and the application process, you will find resources related to each of the key components of law school applications and the required application services for applicants.
