Financing a Legal Education

The pursuit of a legal education will involve a substantial investment of time, energy, and finances. Consider and plan for the financial process as seriously as the application process. Before applying to law school, manage your spending and debt carefully, and pay your bills on time to protect your credit record. Bad credit will limit your ability to borrow funds for law school. If possible, pay off or minimize credit card and other consumer debt before applying to/entering law school.
