4) P&PS 2020 Goal #1 - Outreach and Training
The primary objective of these newsletters is, as much as possible, to simplify/clarify our processes and policies in a way that simplifies the job of Boston University’s many end-users. This then enables all of us to work more efficiently, and thus manage inquiries, payments, etc in a more timely manner, to the benefit of all.
In this spirit, in 2020 we would like to go even further. If there are areas in which you would like clarifications, additional information, or even in-person training – please do not hesitate to reach out. Requests related to the Payment Services, Payroll, Travel Services, and Accounts Payable websites can be made here. General inquiries, including requests for training, can be made by contacting me at cdramsey@bu.edu.
5) P&PS 2020 Goal #2 - Website Redevelopment
In 2020 we are looking to restructure our websites to make them more user-friendly, to ensure that updates affecting our different departments are made uniformly and synchronously, and to organize our content in such a way that all employees, whether new or experienced, can quickly and conveniently navigate to their desired content.
Building off of our first goal, your feedback would be incredibly and helpful and appreciated in this endeavor. If you have any interest in providing input during the redesign process, please contact me at cdramsey@bu.edu.
