Former Summer Fellow Ariana Gunderson Wins Gastronomy Program Award for Excellence in Graduate Study

Ariana Gunderson, a 2018 Pardee Center Graduate Summer Fellow, recently won the Award For Excellence in Graduate Study for the Metropolitan College (MET) Gastronomy program.

The award is presented each year during commencement to one student in each of MET’s 16 academic departments who “has exceptional academic records; has either made an outstanding contribution to the life of the department and/or College, or is expected to make long-term contributions to his or her chosen field; or has completed his or her program despite unusual circumstances or substantial obstacles.”

As a 2018 Graduate Summer Fellow, Gunderson studied how Massachusetts aquaculturists perceive, experience, and prepare for the effects of climate change.
