Janetos to Give Climate Change Talk in Andover on March 6
Prof. Anthony Janetos, Director of the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future and Professor and Chair of the Department of Earth & Environment, will give a public talk on the scientific evidence for climate change and its impacts at Memorial Hall Library in Andover, MA, on Wednesday, March 6 at 7:00 pm.
His talk will draw on the results of the 4th US National Climate Assessment (NCA4), on which Janetos was a contributing author. The NCA4, which was completed in November 2018, provides the most thorough and authoritative report on climate change in the United States to date. He will also discuss efforts around the country to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to the impacts of climate change.
