Janetos Convenes and Speaks at Global Food Plus Conference
Anthony Janetos, the Director of the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future, helped convene and participated in the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs’ Global Food Plus Conference at Harvard University on February 24, 2017.
The conference featured 24 “speed talk” presentations on the nexus of food, agriculture, environment, health, and society by 24 Boston area scholars from a broad range of academic disciplines. Prof. Janetos’ talk focused on his multiple breadbasket failure research, which seeks to understand the potential consequences of crop productivity failures in the world’s major breadbasket regions.
