2011 Pardee Summer Fellow Receives BU Woman’s Guild Scholarship

2011 Pardee Summer Graduate Fellow Kristin Sippl is one of two recipients of the 2013 Katherine Connor McLaughlin Scholarship awarded by the Boston University Women’s Guild. The scholarship is awarded to women 30 and over enrolled in University graduate programs. Sippl, a PhD candidate in Political Science, studies mercury pollution and sustainable development issues in small-scale gold mining communities in sub-Saharan Africa. She was among several scholarship winners honored by the BU Women’s Guild at a luncheon on May 22.
