Welcoming Reception for New Pardee Center Director, Prof. James McCann
The Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future at Boston University hosted a reception to welcome the new Pardee Center Director, Prof. James McCann, on September 28, 2011. Prof. McCann, a well-known scholar on the history of the food, ecology and agriculture of Africa, was appointed Director, ad interim of the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future in August. He replaces Prof. Adil Najam, who recently returned to his native Pakistan to become Vice Chancellor of Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).
The reception was held at the Pardee House, and attended by faculty and researchers from Boston University, Pardee Center Graduate Assistants, and Summer Fellows.
