Pardee Center Welcomes New Post-doc Fellow and Research Coordinator

Pardee Center welcomes two new additions to the Pardee House family.

heransereke-brhan1Dr. Heran Sereke-Brhan joins the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future as a Post-doctoral Fellow from September 2009 to January 2010. Dr. Sereke-Brhan holds a PhD in African History from Michigan State University, working with Harold Marcus, a distinguished professor in Ethiopian Studies. At the Pardee Center, her current research interests will draw on her experiences in the arts, exploring issues of intellectual property and African cultural production, situating the expressive arts in a rapidly globalizing world with migrant communities and competitive markets. Read more.

elaineteng21Elaine Teng joins the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future as a Research Initiatives Coordinator. Elaine has recently completed a Master’s degree in Education from Harvard University.  Before joining the Pardee Center, she was a research consultant for the Center for International Development’s Sustainability Science Unit at the Harvard Kennedy School and has worked as a senior executive with the Singapore Institute for International Affairs (SIIA). At the Pardee Center, she will focus on coordinating research initiatives, forming partnerships, as well as implementing outreach initiatives for the Center. Read more.
