20th Annual Raphael Miara Patient Safety Symposium

In this presentation, "State of Safety," Dr. Tejal Gandhi, Chief Safety and Transformation Officer, Press Ganey, will assess patient safety trends across the country, highlighting data demonstrating improvement opportunities. She will discuss specific, innovative strategies to accelerate progress, including by expanding the definition of harm to capture psychological, emotional, financial, and physical harm and by strengthening safety culture and workforce engagement. She will also describe the strong connection between patient safety and patient experience. Open to all BUMC faculty, staff and students.
