Housing Options

All housing options for summer interns are in apartment-style buildings, from single units in high-rise buildings to multiple occupants in more traditional brownstone low-rise buildings. All options are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. At the time of application, you will be asked to rank your preferences among all available room types.

All apartments include:

  • Refrigerator
  • Stove
  • Kitchen table/chairs, depending on the apartment layout
  • Comfortable living room/common room furniture
  • 24/7 security – either residential security or key-lock entry

Each resident will be provided with:

  • Bed frame with 38″ wide × 80″ long mattress (twin extra-long size)
  • Dresser
  • Desk and desk chair
  • Free access to campus WiFi
  • Mail
  • Access to in-building or nearby coin-operated laundry facilities
  • Use of the BUS, our campus shuttle

The Student Village Apartments

Modern, high-rise buildings — air-conditioned single bedroom within a four-person apartment. Spaces in this location are limited.

Brownstone Apartments

Historic Boston apartment building. Available as:

  • Single occupancy bedroom — configurations vary and include studios, one-bedroom apartments, or two-bedroom apartments for two interns
  • Double occupancy (shared) bedroom — configurations vary and include two-person studios, one-bedroom apartment for two interns, and two-bedroom apartments for four interns
