Professional Development and Career Resources (Foreign-trained Students)
We strongly encourage you to get a head start on your professional development before you arrive at BU Law. There are many things that you can do prior to Orientation to make the most of your experience here. Getting started now will help ensure that you will be eligible for a US bar and ready to seize career-related opportunities later.
What should you do?
- Submit Your Foreign Bar Documents. If you are interested in joining a US bar, please read our bar-related resources and request your foreign eligibility documents before you come to Boston. We walk you step-by-step how to do this in our Head Start: New York Bar Exam webinar.
