Residential Student Orientation

• Orientation for residential/in-person students is Thursday, January 8 and Friday, January 9
• Certain sessions are required for all students, while others are only required for those who have not completed a JD or LLM at a US law school. The schedule will be available closer to the start of orientation.

Students from Non-US Law Schools

• International students should read two cases in advance of orientation We will be using two cases as a point of discussion in several orientation workshops, so it is important that you read them in advance of orientation.
  • Leonard v. Pepsico, Inc., 88 F. Supp. 2d 88 (S.D.N.Y. 1999).  The case is linked to here.

Online Student Orientation

• Online student orientation will be held on Tuesday, January 6 at 1:00pm via Zoom. The session will be recorded for those who cannot make it live.
