As a Senior ISSO Coordinator, Brooke Daly provides administrative assistance to BU’s population of nearly 12,000 international students, scholars, and employees. She advises clients on basic immigration and university procedures and performs preliminary immigration processing.
Prior to joining Global Programs, Brooke worked for one year as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Speyer, Germany and for two years as an English Teacher at Busan International High School in Busan, South Korea. She speaks both German and Korean.
Brooke earned a Bachelor of Arts in English/Creative Writing and German Studies from Emory University. She also holds a CELTA (Cambridge qualification for teaching English as a foreign language) and has extensive experience working with students of various English abilities.
Before working in Germany and South Korea, Brooke studied abroad in Vienna, Austria during college, which introduced her to one of her favorite hobbies: exploring different cafes. She also enjoys taking dance classes, cooking, and planning future travels.
