Along with the Center for the Study of Europe at the Pardee School of Global Studies, the Initiative on Cities is pleased to host Mayor Thomas Geisel of Düsseldorf, Germany, as part of our Speaker Series featuring urban leaders.
Leading Cities From The Left will feature a conversation with Mayor Geisel on the city of Dusseldorf and the challenges of leading a European city as a social democratic mayor. The event will take place on Tuesday, September 22nd, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Pardee School, located at 121 Bay State Road, First Floor. Lunch will be served.
Mayor Geisel joins Dan Koh, Chief of Staff to Boston Mayor Martin Walsh, and Kaija Schilde, Assistant Professor of International Relations at Pardee. The conversation will be moderated by Graham Wilson, Director of the Initiative on Cities.
