Leading Cities From The Left

Along with the Center for the Study of Europe at the Pardee School of Global Studies, the Initiative on Cities (IOC) is thrilled to host Mayor Thomas Geisel of Dusseldorf, Germany, as part of our Speaker Series with urban leaders.

Taking place on Tuesday September 22nd from 12:00pm-2:00pm at the Pardee School, 121 Bay State Road, First Floor, Leading Cities From The Left will feature a conversation with Mayor Geisel on the city of Dusseldorf and the challenges of leading a European city as a social-democratic mayor.

Mayor Geisel will be joined by Dan Koh, Chief of Staff to Boston Mayor Martin Walsh, and Kaija Schilde, Assistant Professor of International Relations at the Pardee School.
