A Meeting Point for the Humanities at BU
BUCH engages students and faculty across departments and disciplines through the curation, administration, and production of public-facing programs. The Center also provides financial and administrative support for events throughout the academic year that bring humanities perspectives to bear on a wide range of subjects that are central to contemporary society.
Once a year, BUCH sponsors an interdisciplinary Forum that uses the humanities to bridge different disciplines, schools, colleges and areas of the City of Boston. Twice a year BUCH sponsors the prestigious Lectures in Criticism series, which has been running since 1983.
