Zhenye Cui is an international student from China. Prior to joining Boston University, Zhenye studied at the University of California San Diego, where he received his B.A. in Art History as well as B.A. in Sociology. Throughout his undergraduate study, he has been exploring different fields of study in art history as well as various opportunities for future research. Zhenye is interested in Modern & Contemporary Asian Art, currently with a particular emphasis on Chinese and Japanese modern art in the early 20th century. He wishes to continue exploring the complex relationships between Art and society in modern Asia during his time at BU.
