Zach Lacy is an MA Student from Colorado. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Colorado Denver where he wrote his thesis on late medieval Christian devotional practices pertaining to blood piety and the abject. His research interests also include cross-cultural connections of the medieval Mediterranean world, manifestations of light in sacred spaces, and Beatus of LiĆ©bana’s Commentary on the Apocalypse. He is also interested in provenance, restitution policies, and art law. He interned at the Denver Art Museum in Summer 2025, conducting provenance research on works of art across the museum’s collection.
