MA Student; History of Art & Architecture
she/her/hers
Katherine received her B.A. in History with a minor in Italian Studies from NYU in 2021, the culmination of a diverse range of study and time spent living in Florence, New York City, San Francisco, and Boston. She returns to academia at BU with the intent of focusing on Medieval and Renaissance Italian history, with a particular interest in Florentine material culture and the ways art reflects life — often revealing more than objects themselves. Katherine’s professional experience has primarily featured work at non-profits and cultural institutions including the American-Italian Cancer Foundation, Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art, and currently the Boston Athenaeum. In her free time she can be found seeking out new Boston restaurants, losing at local trivia nights, and visiting Cape Cod.
