MA Student; History of Art & Architecture, Fundraising Co-Coordinator, GSHAAA
Julia studied painting and design in undergrad, culminating in a solo exhibition on the depiction of the spiritual in the physical realm. The show drew upon wide art historical influences from medieval altarpieces to the paintings of Hilma af Klint.
As an incoming MA student, Julia now shifts direction from painting, embracing her art history minor in her pursuit of a career in archaeology. This summer she participated in an excavation of a 1st century BCE Roman settlement. Julia has spent the few years since graduation working in LA art galleries and museums (and working as a baker somewhere in there).
Julia also loves reading fantasy, cooking, and doing embroidery.
