Hannah McIsaac studies 17th-century Dutch art, with a specific emphasis on still life, landscape, and animal painting. Her research explores representations of human-animal interaction, Early Modern conceptions of the environment, and the gendered aspects of Dutch bird painting. She is currently working on a cataloging project for Mass Audubon’s Museum of American Bird Art.
