Originally from Minnesota, Bailey Pekar is a recent graduate of Northwestern University, where she received her B.S. in Journalism and B.A. in Art History. As an undergraduate, she interned at the Block Museum of Art and spent a summer as a Journalism Fellow at the Center for Scientific Studies in the Arts. She is interested in classical reception studies, particularly in collecting and display practices from the Early Modern period through the turn of the twentieth century. She is currently a Graduate Assistant in BU’s Stone Art Gallery.
