Evidence & Narrative in Architectural History: An Interdisciplinary Symposium

Friday, March 23, 2018, 2:00 – 6:00 PM, Presented by the Aggregate Architectural History Collaborative

How does architectural history’s use of evidence and narrative relate to other fields in the humanities, arts, sciences, social sciences, and professions?  How specifically do architectural historians choose evidence to make arguments and develop structures for telling stories?  And how can architectural history both learn from and teach other disciplines about evidence and narrative? Featuring six architectural-history presentations, responded to by specialists in other fields, with audience participation, this public symposium invites the architectural history community, plus all others interested in intertwined issues of evidence and narrative.
