1) What have you been doing since you graduated from BU?

Since graduating, I’ve been rising through the ranks at the Fenimore Art Museum in Cooperstown, New York. I was recently promoted to Curator of America Art.

Notable projects I’ve curated include: Unmasking Venice: American Artists in the City of Water (2022) As They Saw It: Women Artists Then & Now (2024)–both part of the Art Bridges Initiative with the MFA, Boston–and Mary Cassatt / Berthe Morisot: Allies in Impressionism, on view May 24 through September 1st, 2025.

2) How your time in the department shaped your professional and personal lives?

My time in the department definitely shaped my passion for research, which many of my colleagues have noted. The skills and tools BU gave me during my program have been instrumental in my curatorial role, and the relationship the department has fostered with the MFA, Boston was also hugely beneficial to my professional growth and life outside of Boston.

3) Any advice that you would’ve given to your younger self?

Keep at it, foster that sense of wonder, and keep looking closely at what’s in front of you. All will be revealed.
