MA Student, History of Art & Architecture
She/Her
Sophie Cassarino is a Graduate student in the History of Art and Architecture track. She was a Classics and Art History double major with a minor in Creative Writing in her undergraduate career at the College of the Holy Cross, and her thesis there was about the use of the Latin language in video soundtracks and how this ancient language from before 1 AD continues to retain relevance in the 21st Century.
While a career in Classics has exposed her to a lot of Classical art and language, she hopes to learn more about German Romantic painting at Boston University. In her free time she enjoys writing and watching movies.
Research Interests:
- German Romanticism
- Buddhist Art
