Samantha Murphy is an incoming graduate student in the History of Art and Architecture program at BU. She is a recent graduate from Salem State University where she received a BA in Art History. During undergrad, her various research projects had won her numerous awards within her department. While she doesn’t have a favorite focus, topics of interest include Renaissance Art, Baroque Art, 18th & 19th Century American & European Art, and Women Art & Ideologies. Outside academics, Samantha enjoys reading, going to the movie theater, and practicing film photography. She is excited to begin her time at Boston University!
