Jillianne Laceste, PhD candidate, awarded dissertation grant
PhD candidate Jillianne Laceste was recently awarded a Dissertation Research Grant from the Italian Arts Society (IAS). She will be using this grant to perform research in Italy later this spring for her dissertation in progress, “Creating Columbus: The Visual Culture of Colonial Encounters in Early Modern Genoa.”
