Professor Tseng gives Virtual Lecture at the Seattle Art Museum

On Saturday, April 10, 2021- Professor Alice Tseng will be a speaker in the 2021 series Sites of Memory in Asia organized by the Seattle Art Museum.

Her lecture titled “Building Ancient Memory in Modern Kyoto” discusses the creation of the purposely ancient-looking monument, Heian Shrine, in the peak of the city’s modernization frenzy. Learn more about the series, and register here.
