BU receives 20-volume Encyclopedia of Buddhist Arts
Boston University has received the Fo Guang Encyclopedia of Buddhist Arts, a comprehensive compilation of Buddhist art and architecture from around the world. Containing nearly 10,000 entries and over 14,000 full-color images, the scholarly publication aims to serve specialists and general readers alike.
A donation ceremony was held on April 9, 2019 in the Elie Wiesel Center for Jewish Studies. Alice Tseng represented the Department of History of Art & Architecture in thanking the donors, Fu Guang Shan Temple, for the generous gift to the Boston University Libraries.
