“Photographers Among Us” On view till July 31st!
PhD candidate Tessa Hite has curated an exhibition at the Addison Gallery of American Art at Phillips Academy, Andover.
“Photographers Among Us” presents a selection of documentary photographs from the Addison’s collections. from Lewis Hine’s photographs of child laborers in 1909 to Danny Lyon’s images of Texas prison inmates in the late 1960s, many of the photographs included exhibit a social consciousness.
Opening reception Friday April 13, 6:00-8:00.On view till July 31, 2018.
