Call for Submissions

  • The editors of SEQUITUR, a graduate student journal published by the Department of History of Art & Architecture at Boston University, invite current and recent graduate students to submit content on the theme of “Aftershock” for our Fall 2021 issue.
  • We invite full submissions in: Featured essays & Visual and creative essays
  • We invite proposals in: Exhibition reviews, Book or exhibition catalogue reviews, interviews, research spotlights

Immunization Clinics

  • New immunization clinic dates have been added for flu, MMR, TDAP, Meningitis (ACWY), Hepatitis B, Varicella, and the optional HPV vaccine

GWISE Fellowship Editing Workshop

  • GWISE has organized professors and prior fellowship winners to help hone fellowship applications
  • You must have a detailed outline or complete draft of either a research statement or a personal statement by 10/6

Koru Mindfulness

  • Four week series to teach the skill of mindfulness
  • Open to first generation undergraduates, graduates, and professional students.
  • Dinner will be provided but you must register in advance

Mental Health Fair
Date & Time: October 13th, 12-4pm

  • Featuring BU departments, student groups, local and national mental health organizations
  • Wellness kits, informational resources, emotional support animals and food will be available

What the Science Tells Us: Racial Health and Economics Inequities during the Pandemic

NAGPS Advocacy Summit and Legislative Action Days
Date: October 3-7th, 2021
Location: Fully virtual, Get tickets

  • The Advocacy Summit is designed to prepare attendees for meetings with their representatives on Capitol Hill.
  • The two days of the Advocacy Summit will include informational sessions on policy issues, and best practices for conducting meetings with policymakers on issues in higher education policy.
  • Members from the BU GSO will be in attendance!
