Shawn Provencal

Shawn assists faculty with creating digital content, leads training sessions on foreign language software tools, and provides one on one support for instructors needing a helping hand with technology. Shawn has been highly involved with the ongoing course Teaching College Languages, an ongoing course that prepares graduate students for their first teaching experience. Most recently, Shawn participated in the Portuguese StarTalk in the summer of 2014, co-presented at FLEAT at Harvard University in 2015, and participated in the Korean StarTalk in the summers of 2017, 2018, and 2019.  Shawn has a BS in Computer Science from BU’s Metropolitan College. Shawn is originally from Ware, MA.  He moved to Boston to attend Boston University in 1993.  He currently lives in West Medford, where he often grills steak tips and other cubed meats.
