Alliance Francais: Madan Sara Documentary Screening & Discussion

The French Library is glad to welcome co-executive producer Lu Childs and Charlot Lucien from the Haitian Artists Assembly of Massachusetts to present the documentary Madan Sara and to moderate the Q&A that will follow the screening. The documentary centers on the informal status of women in the Haitian society. The women named Madan Saras deliver and sell goods throughout the country to support their families at the risk of their lives.
