Open skating

Open skating is currently suspended. If there are any changes to this schedule, it will be posted here and we will share the updated information with the community at that time. See our full COVID-19 response and FAQs here.

Open skating is offered to full-time students, FitRec members and the general community during academic year semesters at the Walter Brown Arena, located in the Case Center at 285 Babcock Street.

Adult and youth skates are available for rent, although you are welcome to bring your own skates as availability of skate rental cannot be guaranteed. Skate rentals are $5 per person (all ages). We accept all major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

Please note: hockey sticks or pucks are NOT allowed during open skate hours.

Fall Semester Pass Mid-Sept – Mid-Dec $55
Spring Semester Pass Mid-Jan – Mid-Apr $55
Season Pass* Mid-Sept – Mid-Apr $90

*Skating not available during Intersession, late December to mid January.
