DeAnna Pellecchia
Jazz, Modern and Aerial Dance Instructor
DeAnna Pellecchia is a dancer, choreographer, and educator hailed as “stunning, one of the area’s finest artists” by The Boston Herald and “compelling, intense… a committed and daring performer” by The Boston Globe. Born and based in Boston, she has forged a dynamic career spanning 25 years, defying boundaries—dancing with horses, in trees, underwater, and through air—and performing across operas, plays, films, fashion shows, rodeos, and music videos. Her performances have graced venues such as The Kennedy Center, Museum of Fine Arts Boston, Dance Theater Workshop NYC, and Burning Man Festival. DeAnna has been a principal dancer with Paula Josa-Jones/Performance Works, Kinodance Company, and Anikaya Dance Theater, among many others. As artistic director/choreographer of critically acclaimed KAIROS Dance Theater, she creates immersive, interdisciplinary performances that fuse physical rigor with emotional depth, bringing audiences into intimate encounters with urgent cultural and political issues. KAIROS has toured nationally and internationally, receiving support from major arts funders and earning extensive coverage in leading press outlets including Dance Magazine and Broadway World.
