Ben Pollock
Personal Trainer
Ben is a certified personal trainer through the National Strength & Conditioning Association. He is a junior in Sargent College’s six-year doctor of physical therapy program with a minor in human physiology, and a strong passion for exercise and movement science. Ben loves staying up-to-date on current research in the exercise and rehab field so that he can both apply it to his own training and teach it to others. His areas of expertise include resistance training, body recomposition, functional strength training, and working with special populations.
As someone who trains around a chronic health condition himself, Ben values making exercise accessible and sustainable for people of all ability levels and backgrounds. He understands that fitness looks different for everyone and takes an evidence-based, highly individualized approach to training. He emphasizes structuring sessions around personally relevant goals, adapting exercises to accommodate individual needs, and giving detailed and personalized instruction to help you build independence in the gym. Whether you are a beginner trying to improve your overall health, or an experienced lifter with highly specific goals, Ben will work with you to design a safe and effective program that gets you results.
