Adam Chedd

Lifeguard/Swim Instructor

Raised in Brookline, MA, Adam started working at Boston University in January 2023. He began his professional career as a swim instructor at Charles River Aquatics in 2019 in Wellesley, MA, preparing children for competitive swimming and lifeguarding. In the summer of 2022, Adam continued his work in aquatics instruction at Camp Harbor View on Long Island in Boston Harbor, where he taught water survival techniques to Boston Public School students.

In addition to his work in aquatics, Adam worked as a camp counselor and taught snowboarding in East Madison, NH from 2013-2015. He also taught private music lessons in New York from 2017-2019. He is a graduate of the New School in New York City, where he earned a bachelor’s in psychology (Eugene Lang College) and a bachelor’s in jazz and contemporary music. In his spare time, he enjoys riding his bicycle, playing bass, and writing music.
