Registration for Camp Terrier 2023 is now open!
Camp Terrier – Dance Arts
Ages 8 – 11
Fees: Member – $1,210, Non-Member – $1,450
Our two-week dance groups are for campers of all dance levels who want to learn in a fun and supportive environment. Campers will hone their technical dance skills, work with our counselors and instructors to create original choreography, and improve their performance skills for the culminating dance concert on the final day. Campers will have daily classes in Ballet, Contemporary/Modern, Yoga/Stretch, and Jazz/Hip Hop. Our program includes special classes with guest artists in other styles of dance, such as Zumba, West African, and Making Dances (composition).
Campers will have a hybrid schedule, with about half the day being dedicated to dance time, and half the day combining with Sports & Recreation groups for recreational swim, gym games, time at the climbing wall, among other activities. Weather permitting, lunch will be eaten outside each day.
Family and friends are invited to the informal performance on the final day of each session in the BU Dance Theater.
