Luana Rigo Pavão

Luana Rigo Pavão is a Brazilian circus coach, physical educator, and master’s student who has always connected movement with learning, creativity, and self-expression. She began training in aerial silks in 2018, and circus quickly became a meaningful part of her life. In Brazil, she trained and performed through a circus school that helped shape the way she understands growth, confidence, and joy through movement. Before moving to the U.S., she worked in schools in Brazil as a Physical Education teacher, leading classes and recreation activities for children and teens. More recently, she began coaching aerial silks and other circus modalities for youth in Boston, working both in a circus school setting and in a social circus organization. Drawing from her background in education, youth development, and circus training, she aims to create a supportive environment where students feel safe to explore, challenge themselves, and feel proud of what their bodies can do.
