Student Employees of the Month – September 2020

We are excited to bring back our 2020-2021 Employee of the Month Program. We appreciate all of our students’ hard work to keep FitRec safe, clean, and healthy this year!

In an effort to recognize those students going above and beyond to provide the best possible customer service to our students, we will be recognizing one person from each program area every month. We would like to thank T Anthony’s for their support and sponsorship of our employee recognition program.

September Employees of the Month

AQUATICS – Brandon Coughlin

Brandon has been a big help this month as he picked up many shifts while we were hiring new student lifeguards. Brandon is always fun to work with and willing to help when he can. 

EMS – Piers Klein

Piers has been very helpful both during previous semesters and breaks, often picking up dozens of shifts when many of our staff were away from campus. Piers has been particularly helpful during the first few weeks of FitRec’s reopening, continuing to pick up shifts despite the altered hours and work environment. Big shout out to Piers! 

FACILITIES – Omar Carino

Omar has been on top of everything at the front desk! When students come up with questions or problems, Omar’s quick problem solving and courteous customer service skills help him resolve issues with ease. According to his coworkers: “Omar always has the safety of the FitRec staff and members in mind. He is an absolute star.”

FITNESS – Gordon Levine

Gordon has worked for us for a few years and is now taking on the role of student manager. He is a great worker always willing to take on new tasks, and has stepped up to be a great manager. We are looking forward to seeing him grow even more into his leadership role. 

PRO SHOP – Kimberly Siu 

Kimberly picked up many shifts to help us clean out a ton of lockers for members during the month of September. The process went smoothly and quickly because of her efforts. Thanks, Kimberly!
