Choreolab 2023 – 4.30
Boston University’s Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance is pleased to present ChoreoLab 2023, an informal showing of choreography created by and for the Boston University community. There will be one performance on Sunday, April 30, at 5 pm that is free of admission. This production showcases a wide variety of original works by student and faculty choreographers. It takes place in Boston University’s Dance Theater.
ChoreoLab 2023 will include student and faculty choreography from our credit and noncredit dance program:
• Jossie Coleman’s Afro-Fusion, CardioJazzFunk, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Heels classes
• A structured improvisation from the Dance Improvisation class, taught by Liz Roncka
• Solos by Wendy Li and Kelsey Doukszewicz and a group piece by Matthew Xu from Directed Study in Composition and Performance & Repertory classes taught by Micki Taylor-Pinney
The lighting design is by Lynda Rieman and the ChoreoLab 2023 coordinator is Liz Roncka.
The Boston University Dance Theater is located at 915 Commonwealth Avenue. You must use the entrance on Buick St. to enter the venue.
ChoreoLab is presented by the Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (Caitriona Taylor, Executive Director, and Micki Taylor-Pinney, Coordinator of Dance).
