Global Fridays: Promoting Cultural Understanding Through Film (Fall 2014)

This year, the newly inaugurated Pardee School for Global Studies has begun a new film series initiative: “Global Fridays: Promoting Cultural Understanding Through Film.” Inspired by journalist E. Nina Rothe’s article “Six Films That Could Save the World” and spearheaded by the Center for the Study of Europe, the fall 2014 series – “Stories from Israel and Palestine” is a collaboration between  the Institute for the Study of Muslim Societies and Civilizations, Middle East and North African Studies, the Elie Wiesel Center for Judaic Studies, and the Department of Modern Languages and Comparative Literatures.

Screenings will take place during Fridays throughout the semester. All screenings begin at 3 PM in the Pardee School, 154 Bay State Road, 2nd floor.

Screenings are free and open to the public. Please see the full list of films below.
