More than two million children – most under the age of 10 – have an incarcerated parent in the United States. Megan Sullivan will discuss what research tells us, why we should care, and what children of incarcerated parents have to teach all of us as parents, educators, and citizens.
Megan is Associate Dean for Faculty Research and Development and the Director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Teaching & Learning, where she creates programs and opportunities for excellent undergraduate instruction. She teaches courses in writing, non-fiction writing, Irish literature and film, and teacher education.
