Remixes and Music from the Class of 2013

In his “remixer’s manifesto,” Professor Lawrence Lessig reminds us that community and culture build upon themselves. This summer, I suggested the BU Class of 2013 add to our culture and show off its remix skills.
We like this video but thought 2013 could add its own style:
Remixers in the class worked this video and uploaded to YouTube. We checked out every remix and thought the best remixes came from Milly Aliaga, Livia Brown, Michael DeFilippis, Emily Keller, Miriam Khan, Nick Pataky, and Sylvia Wozny – we’ll select a remix to show during each upcoming Orientation session. (Congratulations! All seven remixers get a free Orientation registration.) All were good – big ups to Alexa Reyes (she also gets a free Orientation registration) – we wanted to show how she worked it:
Cool! Also loved the music.
2013 has great music genes – they set the vibe in these remixes by bumping, grooving, and sometimes making me anxious. We put together a playlist from their remixes:
