What Are You Doing For The Game? A Safe Super Bowl Sunday
How about some football, American-style. One game and lots of spectacle. Even better when the local guys are playing for the trophy.
I love the mid-air extended catches and when the smaller guys break through the line to stop a play. Give me the thrill of a returned punt. Most important, I am a connoisseur of trash-talking, color commenting, celebrating, and drama – in the stands and on the screen. This Sunday, I get to watch my hometown play the hometown. We like the gathering – getting together with others to watch the big game. Since I can’t play, I just appreciate being with friends and enjoying snacks that I shouldn’t eat.
Have you got somewhere to watch the game? We’re getting together on Sunday at Agganis – our treat. Join us!
If you can’t make it over to the Arena, then you must do me a favor: get together with someone; watch the game (or the commercials); have a great time, and – most important – keep yourself safe.
I never understood it, but you know there’s always “those guys” out there who like to break stuff, flip cars, light fires, and provoke cops. Watch out for those guys – they’re usually overly emotional, careless, drunk, and want to fight. Careful, please! (And I hope your team’s win will not turn you in to one of “those guys.”)
Heads up! I know Boston Police will be out in full force around the City, and they’ve issued some warnings here. They’re shutting down Kenmore Square — complete. No cars, bikes, or even pedestrians. (Run-ins with police aren’t my thing, so I plan to stay away from Kenmore for a few hours on Sunday.)
This Sunday, do me that favor! Keep yourself safe and watch your friend’s back.
Hope I see you on Sunday – at Agganis Arena. If not, Go (insert your team’s name here)!

hello,
Is it possible to bring a non BU guest and she will pay for a ticket?
Please let me know, thanks!
Hi Oriana –
You may bring a non BU guest, but she must stay with you at the party. She will not have to pay to enter the arena. She may have to pay for some food items when she is there.
Hope you will be able to make it!
